Johnnie Kay Chrisley, Jr.

November 21, 1936 - June 29, 2016

Johnnie Kay Chrisley, Jr., 79, died Wednesday, June 29, 2015, at his residence. Born in Ware Shoals and a son of the late Johnnie Kay Chrisley, Sr. and Nell Chauncey Chrisley, he was the husband of Ernestine Adams Chrisley. He served in the US Army and was a retired carpenter. Mr. Chrisley was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Ernestine Adams Chrisley, four daughters, Deborah Watts and special friend Harold Autry of Lexington, Kathy Drafts of Saluda, Tina Murray and special friend Jessy Frost of Lexington and Belinda Nicholson (Wade) of Greenwood, two sons, Johnnie Kay Chrisley III (Sharon) of Rogersville, TN and Bobby Shealy (Lisa) both of Saluda, three brothers, Chester Chrisley of Saluda, Leroy Chrisley of Ninety Six and Melvin Chrisley of Kinards, a sister, Sue Westmoreland of Swansboro, NC, fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Mr. Chrisley was preceded in death by a grandson, Marshall Allen Kinard and a sister and four brothers. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM Friday evening, July 1, 2016, at Ramey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Beauford, Dr. Wayne Lovett and Rev. John H. Alexander, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chad Drafts, Clayton Watts, Joe Murray, Josh Murray, Robby Shealy, Kenneth Shealy, Johnnie Kay Chrisley IV and Mardy Reed, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Adam Shealy, Joseph Adams, Jacob Adams and Shane Adams. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 404 Batesburg Hwy., Saluda, SC 29138 or to Good Hope Baptist Church, 1738 Greenwood Hwy., Saluda, SC 29138.
