Margaret Evon Fulmer Maw

Margaret Evon Fulmer Maw, 84, died Monday, April 23, 2017 at her residence. Born in Aiken County and a daughter of the late Leroy and Gladys Padgett Fulmer, she was the wife of the late Lewis Calvin Maw. Ms. Maw was an entrepreneur on many levels, as she owned a bakery shop and sandwich shop for many years, baking some of the best cakes in the county. She also was a saleswoman of a variety of items including hats and handmade jewelry, owning her own business of Front Porch Creations. She worked, along with her mother, as the assistant operator of the Saluda Home for Veterans. Throughout her career she always found time for the loves of her life, her children and grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Dianne M. Storey (Gordon) of Saluda and Cheryl M. Litton (Greg) of Orange City, FL, two brothers, Raymond Fulmer and Wayne Fulmer both of Saluda, along with six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Ms. Maw was preceded in death by her brother, W.M. Fulmer. A Memorials service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Lee Cothran officiating. Interment will follow in West Travis Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
