Alice Trilby Davis Higbee, 82, daughter of the late Carrie Quattlebaum Davis and Andrew Tribble "Trib" Davis and the widow of Billy David Higbee, Sr. passed away April 21, 2021 at her home.
Trilby was a graduate of Saluda High School, and went on to earn her degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina. She was a public school teacher for 35 years where she taught in numerous public schools in the state of SC. She served 2 terms on the Saluda County School Board. She retired from JET Middle School in Johnston, SC.
She is survived by a daughter, Carrie Lucille Higbee of Saluda, one God-grandchild, Whitney Renee Turner (Kareem Anderson), and one God-great-grandchild, Khloee Anderson, all from Greenwood. She had a host of nieces and nephews in SC, California, and Utah. Three best friends, Emma Rhinehart of Saluda, Miriam Banks of Saluda, and Phobe Hoffman of Texas. Her precious sons, Billy David Higbee, Jr. and Mark Tribble Higbee preceded her in death.

There will be no formal visitation at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
