Allie Lee McAlister, 86, died January 14, 2017 at Hospice Care of The Piedmont in Greenwood, S.C.

Born in Cleveland, TN, and a daughter of the late James Taylor and Zennie Edna Jones Morris, she was married to the late J.D. McAlister. She was retired from the winding room of Greenwood Mills and was a member of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church..

Surviving are a son, Steven McAlister (Sandra) of Chappells and a daughter Diane Padgett (Joe) of Saluda, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren along with one brother, Taylor Morris of Cleveland TN and one sister, Ruth Wilson also of Cleveland TN.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2017 at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, January 16, 2017 at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Baptist Church cemetery.
