Amanda Storey

Amanda Lynn Storey, 38, died Wednesday, November 6, 2019.

A native of Saluda County, she was the daughter of Gurnie Mae Dominick Storey and the late Leonard H. Storey. Amanda was an employee of Michelin in Laurens County and the Saluda County Detention Center. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church and the NRA. She was also an avid Clemson and Saluda Tiger fan.

Surviving are her mother, Gurnie Mae Dominick Storey of Saluda, a special friend and the love of her life, Robert Hewitt of Saluda, Hunter Tiger Buddy (Hunter Hopkins) of Saluda, and two fur babies, Spot and Koko.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Saturday evening at Celebration Church.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:30 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Celebration Church with Rev. Jerry Brunson, Rev. Joseph Hallman and Rev. Dennis Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
