Annette Sample Bouknight's Obituary
Annette Sample Bouknight, 85, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Saluda Nursing Center.
Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Bennie Mayer and Dosha Mae Smith Sample, she was the wife of the late Leon Francis "Pete" Bouknight, Sr. Mrs. Bouknight was a retired seamstress with Saluda Shirt Plant and was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Leon F. Bouknight, Jr. (Susan) of Columbia, a daughter, Debra Lou Perry of Williamston, two brothers, Charlton M. Sample of Batesburg and James Guy Sample of Saluda, a sister, Kathleen Long of Saluda, three grandchildren, Joshua Bouknight, Jamie Bouknight and Jonathan Bouknight and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Lee Cothran officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
