Annie Lois Saylors
Annie Lois Bryan Saylors, our beloved Mother peacefully departed from us on June 14, 2025 in Charleston, South Carolina.
Born on May 13, 1939 in Saluda, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Robert and Maggie Bryan. Mrs. Saylors was raised in Saluda where she attended Saluda High School and played clarinet in the band. Upon graduation, she married her high school sweetheart and moved to North Carolina and on to Albany, GA while her husband served in the Air Force. She eventually returned to Saluda and began working at the hosiery mill. She then began working for Carolina Eastman Company in Columbia, SC for several years, until she retired. After retiring, she moved to Mount Pleasant, SC, where she resided until her passing.
Surviving are a daughter, Rhonda (Saylors) Blankenship and husband Jeff; daughter-in-law, Lisa (Morales) Saylors; step-grandchildren, Michele Kirkland (Bryan), Maressa Lidster (Andrew), Morgan Thomason, Tammy Pace, Tonya Jayroe (Shaun), Janna Camperman (David); great-grandchildren, Asher, Beau, Tyler, Camrion, Camiella, Kamora, TJ, Tinsley, Lakelyn, Calain, Jabie, Eli, Simeon, Josiah, and Stanley; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Saylors was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Saylors, her son, Toby Saylors, a sister, Erys Mae Horne and a brother, R.A. Bryan.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Ramey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Deal and Jeff Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
