B W Perry, Jr.

B W "Buddy" Perry, Jr., 75, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Lexington Medical Center.

Born in Saluda, and the son of the late B W Perry, Sr. and Sarah Butler Perry, he was the husband of Frankie McGee Perry. Mr. Perry was a retired electronics technician at Milliken in Johnston. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the US Army, and received numerous medals for his service. He loved fishing and gardening.

Surviving are his wife, Frankie McGee Perry, two sons, Carlos Perry (Jennifer) of Pelion and Allen Perry (Dorothy) of Saluda, eight grandchildren, Hannah Lucus, Rachel Hollis (Dal), Kristen Shealy (Brandon), Heather Perry, Amanda Perry (Colby Kennedy), Joshua Perry, Benjamin Perry and Teresa Perry, five great-grandchildren, Dalton Hollis, Sarah Hollis, Joselyn Watson, Brianna Watson and Charles Kennedy, and four sisters, Loretta Jones of Florida, Yvonne Davis of Saluda, Odetta Winningham of Bluffton, SC and Marcy Hart of Irvin, TX.

Mr. Perry is preceded in death by three sisters, Renna O'Cain, Diane Turner and Shirlene Rauton.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
