Bernard Jacob "Ricky" Riddle, 62, died Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Hospice Care of the Piedmont.

A native of Saluda, he was a son of the late B.O. "Dick" and Lessie Virginia Frazier Riddle. Mr. Riddle was owner and operator of Riddle Trucking and contracted with Brushy Fork Construction and formerly Bledsoe Construction where he was known as "Paul Bunyan". He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

Surviving are his beloved spouse, Bertie Eastman of Saluda, three sons, Matt Riddle (Leah Anne) of Saluda, Billy Pruitt (Hope) of Callison and Glenn Pruitt (Cassie) of Greenwood, a daughter, Katie Ricard (Bryan) of Lexington, two sisters, Terry Riddle and Jackie Dorn both of Saluda, five grandchildren, Rylie Riddle, Braelyn Pruitt, Billy Pruitt, III, Isabella Pruitt and Jake Pruitt.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

A Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2016 at Mayson Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Jeremy Beauford and Rev. Chuck Sprouse officiating.
