Bobbie Jean Andrews (78) died on Thursday, August 20 at the Saluda Nursing Center where she had been a resident for the past 5 years. She was born on January 19,1937 and was the daughter of the late James O. and Mildred R. Andrews of Marion, SC. She was a graduate of Marion High School and later of Winthrop College where she received a degree in medical records. She lived and worked in Columbia, SC most of her life and retired from Baptist Hospital after many years of faithful service. Ms. Andrews was a member of Brookland United Methodist Church of West Columbia.

Surviving are her brother James Andrews, his wife Pauline S Andrews (Saluda), her nieces: Donna M Andrews (Lexington), Lisa R. Andrews Hoover and Lisa's Husband Ehren J Hoover (Saluda) and her great nieces Riley E Hoover and Katherine R. Hoover.

A private family celebration of life service will be held by the Reverend Robert Culbertson on Saturday August 22, 2015 and burial at Memorial Garden in Orangeburg, SC.
