Bobby Earl Tynes, 82, died Friday, May 29, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Graves County, KY and a son of the late Lucian Hart and Lillie Ann Hickerson Tynes, he was the husband of Margaret Elizabeth Floyd Tynes. Mr. Tynes was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired Computer Engineer with Unisys Corporation. An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of numerous outdoor sporting organizations and enjoyed spending time with his many hunting partners. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church.

Survived by his wife, Margaret Elizabeth Floyd Tynes, a daughter, Sherri Tynes of Wilmington, NC, a son, Ken Tynes (Michele) of W. Columbia, a brother, Gene Tynes (Bettye) of Chappells, two grandchildren, Brett Tynes and Taylor Tynes and his beloved pup, Gypsy.

The family would like to thank Doctors, nurses and staff of Self Regional Medical Center for their care and neighbors and friends for their support.

A Memorial service will be held 6 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church with Rev. Jim Glander officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
