Brandy Peterson Reyes, 39, died Friday, December 4, 2015 at her home in Greenwood.

Born in Palo Alto, California, she was the daughter of Lloyd Eugene and Gwendolyn Dawkins Peterson. She was the wife of Eduardo James Reyes. Brandy graduated from Piedmont Technical College with a degree in nursing. She was a pharmacy tech and a registered nurse.

Surviving are her husband, Eduardo James Reyes of Greenwood; one son, Edward Watson Reyes and one daughter, Sophia Rebecca Reyes of the home; special family members, Joseluiz and Benito Juarez Reyes of Greenwood; her mother, Gwendolyn Peterson of Saluda; grandmother, Ruby Dawkins of Saluda; two sisters, Kim Stone of Saluda and Sherry Gibson of Shelby, N.C. and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Peterson.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday evening, December 7, 2015 at Grace Community Church, 1611 Woodlawn Rd., Greenwood, S.C.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Grace Community Church with Rev. Rodney Schultz officiating. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Baptist Church, 134 Chestnut Hill Rd., Chappells, S.C.
