Brenda Lee Bagwell Hawkins, 65, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Saluda Nursing Center.

Born in Douglas County, GA and a daughter of the late Attis Bagwell and Ruby Griffith Lobsinger, she was the wife of Horace Louis Hawkins. Mrs. Hawkins was a cosmetologist and barber for 35 years and was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Horace Louis Hawkins, a daughter, Suzanne Shealy (David) of Saluda, a son, Tracey Hawkins of Saluda, four sisters, Rev. Helen Shirley of Douglasville, Frances Barnes of Indiana, Jenny Hindman of Buchanan, GA and Nita Bagwell of Macon, GA and two grandchildren, Wyatt Shealy and Alexis Shealy.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday evening, June 3, 2015 at Ramey Funeral Home.
