Rev. Carles Fincannon

Rev. Carles Fincannon, 79, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at McCormick Post Acute Rehab.

Born in Central, SC and the son of the late William Aures and Sara Cora Harris Fincannon, he was the husband of Helen Jean Smith Fincannon. A pastor for 52 years, he last presided over Calvary Holiness Tabernacle. He was licensed and ordained through HPMA, where he was also a founding board member.

Surviving are his wife, Helen Jean Smith Fincannon of Saluda, two sons, Rev. Mark Fincannon (Amy) of Saluda and Rev. Byron Fincannon (Kathy) of St. Stevens, one daughter, Carla Y. Masters (Thomas) of Liberty, two brothers, Harold Fincannon of Charleston, and Marion Fincannon of Fair Play, three sisters, Katheryn Kelley of Six Mile, Lula Jones of Toccoa, GA and Betty Garvin of Walhalla, six grandchildren, Austin Masters, Caleb Fincannon, Daisy Masters, Joshua Fincannon, Sarah Fincannon and Ethan Fincannon, and one great-grandchild, Luna Masters.

Rev. Fincannon was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Monday, December 5, 2022 at Calvary Holiness Tabernacle with Rev. Mark Fincannon and Rev. Byron Fincannon officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
