Carol Richard Nichols, 56, died Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center.
Born in Richland County, he was a son of Betty Jane Benson Rodgers.
Surviving are a daughter, Millie Nichols of Durham, NC, a son, Asher Nichols of Durham, NC, his mother, Betty Jane Benson Rodgers of Saluda and a sister, Annette Landers of Saluda.
Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Rodgers.
A graveside service will be held 3 p.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Little Angels Memorial Park with Rev. Louie Murray officiating.
