Chuck Collard

Charles Herbert "Chuck" Collard, 80, died Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at MUSC Medical Center in Charleston, SC.

Born in Buffalo, NY and a son of the late James Collard and Eleanor Pierce Collard, he was the husband of Sandra Mitchell Collard. Mr. Collard was a US Air Force veteran. He was a retired Chief Deputy with Saluda County Sheriff's Office and was an avid golfer.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra Mitchell Collard, three daughters, Dawn Fisher and Sheri Coleman (Ted) both of Saluda and Julie Chapman (Larry) of Pickens, a son, Jay Collard (Lynne) of Buffalo, NY, ten grandchildren, Cassie Ansel, Lynzie Nebel, Katie Hodges, Mitchell Collard, Rachel Long, Allie Collard, Seth Collard, Olivia Coleman, Lucas Chapman and Kyle Fisher and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Butler United Methodist Church with Rev. Lee Cothran officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
