Charles Kenneth "Ken" Boland, 79, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at his home.

Born in Augusta, GA, he was the son of the late Charles Franklin Boland, Jr. and Johnnie Mae Feagle Boland. Ken was the husband of the late Linda Hobbs Boland. Ken was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from South Carolina National Guard, 122nd Engineer Company in Saluda. He was a retired Reserve Deputy with Saluda County Sherriff's Office and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church.

Surviving are one son, Wesley Boland (Lisa) of Saluda, one daughter, Whitney Legrand (Hiram) of VA, one sister, Bonnie Worden of Summerville, and three grandchildren, Joel Thomas Dooley, Collin Alexander Legrand and Lola Kennedy Legrand.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church with Rev. Emily Mooneyhan officiating. Interment will follow in Travis Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
