Charlotte Rankin Crouch

Charlotte Emma Rankin Crouch, 88, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Saluda Nursing Center.

Born in Newberry, SC as the only child of the late David Hoyt and Janie DeHart Rankin, she was the wife of the late Norman Jerome Crouch for 54 years. She was a homemaker, co-owner of Crouch's Bar-B-Q and a member of Saluda Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Glenn N. Crouch (Jinna); two daughters, Charlene C. Herlong (Rod) and Connie C. Martin (Chris), all of Saluda; six grandchildren, Joshua Crouch (Amanda), Rebekah McDowell (Brett), Rodney Herlong, Jr. (Marla), Mabra Wayman (Brian), Austan Bartley and Morgan Bartley, and six great-grandchildren, Emma Crouch, Cal Crouch, Sligh McDowell, Corley Jean Herlong, Larson Herlong, and Lain Bartley.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday, August 5, 2022 at Saluda Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff McCartney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Travis Park Cemetery.
