Christine R. Padgett, 95, entered into eternal rest on August 16, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

Born July 20, 1919, Christine was the daughter of the late David and Ellen Forrest Rodgers. She was the widow of Carlin W. Padgett and preceded in death by her sister, Clotez Clark and brother, Raymond Rodgers.

Christine is survived by her daughter, Linda Padgett Rodgers and son-in-law, Wallace Rodgers, son David Padgett and grandchildren, Michael Rodgers (Angela), Kelly Bedenbaugh (Terry) and Christopher Rodgers (Tonya), great-grandchildren, Jordyn and Jason Rodgers and Samuel and William Bedenbaugh. She is also survived by her sisters, Marietta Powell, Leona Wilson and Ora Gillian.

Christine was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend and she was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a lifelong member of St. William Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by all.

The family greatly appreciates the care given by Dr. William Sawyer, Jay Wates and Belinda Rushton.

A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. at St. William Catholic Church with visitation immediately following in the church social hall.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. , Tuesday, August 19 at St. William Catholic Church, Ward, SC.
