Claria "Elaine" Jackson
Claria "Elaine" Blackston Turner Jackson, 75, passed away on September 27, 2024.
Born in Saluda County, SC, and the daughter of the late J.T. Blackston and Marian Walker Blackston. Mrs. Jackson was retired from Ridge Farmers Mutual and attended Ward Baptist Church. She had a deep love for crafts, gardening and an even greater affection for flamingos.
Surviving are a son, Ernest David Turner of Ridge Spring, three grandchildren, Cody Allen Turner of Ridge Spring, Haley Padgett (Brandon) of Saluda and Nikki Turner of Ridge Spring, two great-grandchildren, Jayda Green and Rowdy Lee Padgett, and lifelong friends, Emma Abney and Sandra Hayes.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m., Friday, October 11 2024, at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Regina Sanders and Tom Blackston officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
