Rev. Clifton Eugene Turner, 88, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Ridge Rehabilitation Center, in Edgefield, SC.
Born in Edgefield County, he was the husband of the late Edna Hare Neal Turner. Mr. Turner was retired from Milliken. He was a licensed Minister for 57 years, he was pastor of Congregational Holiness Church in Rutherford, NC and associate pastor at Hopewell Congregational Holiness Church in Saluda, SC. He served God and the church well on both District and local levels.
Surviving are a daughter in-law, Grace B. Pope (Kenneth) of Saluda, two grandchildren, Windy Addy (Rick) and Russell Neal both of Saluda, three great-grandchildren, and four great-great- grandchildren
Mr. Turner was preceded in death by a step-son, James Thomas Neal, four brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Friday, June 22, 2018 at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Danny Jones and Rev. Larry Roland officiating. Interment will follow in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Hopewell Congregational Holiness Church, 785 Old Chappells Ferry Rd, Saluda, SC 29138.
