Clinton Brunson Winn, 90, died Friday, August 17, 2018 at Saluda Nursing Center.
Born in Ward, South Carolina, June 16, 1928, a son of Fletcher Clinton and Mary Ellen Herlong Winn, he was the husband of the late Frankie Edwards Winn. He served in the S.C. National Guard. He was the owner and operator of Winn's Farm on Hwy 39 South in Saluda County for 48 years. He was a member of Saluda Co. Cattleman's Association.
He was an all-life member of Emory United Methodist Church, an entertaining conversationalist, a master gardener and very family & farm oriented. He and his family, were chosen as the FHA Farm Family of the Year for the state of South Carolina in
1976.
Surviving are his children David Fletcher Winn (Jeannie) and Lisa Winn Berry (Robert) and grandchildren Fletcher, Forrest, Fulton Winn and Lacey Wingard and Claude and Noah Berry and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Louise W. Senterfeit and a brother, Donald H. Winn.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Sunday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 4 p.m., Monday, August 20, 2018 at Emory United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
