Colleen's career days took her to first to Greenwood Mills, then to Chemstrand, Nations Bank, and to Saluda Elementary School. Her youthfulness and vitality won the hearts of everyone she met. Most of her years were spent being a loving wife and mother to her family, her greatest joy. Another joy was serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Colleen' s church for many years was Gassaway United Methodist Church where she faithfully sang in the choir, in addition to serving in many other roles throughout the years. Later, she attended Bethlehem UMC. Even as her health failed her and she could no longer attend, she served the Lord by witnessing to His importance in her life each day.
