Constance Jean Cameron

Constance Jean Kent Cameron, 79, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026 at her home.

Born in Augusta, Georgia she was the daughter of the late James Earl Kent and Helen Marjorie Womack. Mrs. Cameron was a proud graduate of Piedmont Technical College, where she earned her degree in Social Services. She dedicated many years of service to Quality Stitching before her retirement. A woman of many talents, she found great joy in sewing, painting, and creating ceramics. Above all, she dearly loved her family, especially her four children, who were the pride and joy of her life.

Surviving are four children, Christa Jean Dinius (Randy) of Indiana, Robert Lee Schultz (Rachel) of Chappells, John Clifton Owens, III of N. Augusta and Sherri Marjorie Rooney (Joe) of Irmo, a sister, Sheron Earlene Rooks of Chappells, twelve grandchildren, Heather Dalton, Bryan Dalton, Ryan Pierce, John Clifton Owens, IV, Austin Jacob Owens, Skylar Maria Owens, Joseph Cadence Horne, Dalton Larry Rude, Becky Rude, Catie Rooney, Cody Hill and Robin Hill and nine great-grandchildren, Zephera Gooding, Malakai Cornell, Brylee Dinius, Finn Pierce, Emma Pearl Canfield, Colton Gunnells, Jaxxon Owens, Eevee Owens and Joseph Rooney.

A memorial service will be held 10:00a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Hopewell Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Buddy Cockrell officiating.
