Cynthia Carolyn Peoples Tarver, 47, died Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
Born in Washington, DC and a daughter of Lillie Carolyn Ackerman and Bobby Ray Peoples, she was the wife of William Gordon Tarver. Mrs. Tarver was a homemaker and was a member of Gray Baptist Church in Gray, GA.
Surviving are her husband, William Gordon Tarver, her mother, Lillie Carolyn Ackerman of Saluda, her father and stepmother, Bobby Ray and Wanda Peoples of Eatonton, GA, a son, William Cody Tarver of the home, a daughter, Isabella Grace Patterson of Saluda and a sister, Nicole Cross (Larry) of Social Circle, GA, two step-brothers, Dean Clark (Angie) of Eatonton, GA and Carl Clark (Kate) of Haddock, GA and a step-sister, Bonnie Williams (Ralph) of Ooltewah, TN and father and mother-in-law, Lemuel Franklin Tarver and Mary Kay Tarver of Satsuma, AL
Mrs. Tarver was preceded in death by a son, Gabriel Allen Patterson, a sister, Suzanne Rae Peoples, maternal grandparents, Louis Murray Ackerman and Minnie Ruth Ackerman and paternal grandparents, Leon Wesley and Treva Hazel Peoples.
A graveside service will be held 4 p.m., Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Red Bank Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Paul Holcombe officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:30 p.m., prior to the service at Ramey Funeral Home.
