Saluda,SC: Dale Shannon Hallman, 29, died Friday, April 6, 2018 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.

Born in Columbia, SC and the son of Winfred Hallman and Naomi Strickland Hallman, he was the husband of Brandi Perry Hallman. Dale was a Saluda County Deputy Sheriff for over 5 years and served as a K-9 handler. Dale was a dedicated husband and father and he loved the outdoors and was an avid sportsman. He served as a volunteer fireman with the Circle Fire Dept. and Saluda Fire Dept.

Surviving are his wife Brandi Perry Hallman and his parents, Winfred and Naomi Strickland Hallman of Batesburg, two sons, Jase and Jonathan and a daughter Laney Grace due in June, a sister Letha Bryan (Brantley), two nieces and a nephew, second parents David and Melinda Rhoad, his brothers and sisters in blue and his K-9 companion Copper.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m., Sunday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 9,2018, at Saluda Baptist Church with Rev. Derrick Jones, Rev. Lee Cothran and Rev. Greg Williams officiating.

Interment will follow in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery.
