David Adams

David Olin Adams, 57, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Greenwood, and the son of Frances Cornelia Cates Adams and the late Raymond Lee Adams, he was the husband of Kimberly Rene Hughey Adams. Mr. Adams was a dedicated and hardworking man who retired as a warehouse manager from Castle, where he was known for his reliability, leadership, and commitment to his work. He took great pride in providing for his family and building lasting relationships with those he worked alongside throughout the years.

Outside of work, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Music was a passion of his, and he enjoyed listening to many different kinds. He also had a special love for the mountains, where he found peace in the beauty of nature and treasured the time spent there. Mr. Adams was also a big Carolina Gamecocks fan, who loved watching football on Saturdays.

Those who knew him will remember him as a kind and humble man who appreciated life's quiet moments. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Surviving alongside his wife of 38 years, and his mother are four sons, Justin Adams (Laura) of Mauldin, Brandon Adams of Taylors, Michael Lawrence and Jeremy Lawrence both of Greer, a daughter, Natasha Adams of Chicago, a granddaughter, Dottie Adams, two sisters, Renee Medlin of Easley and Rhonda Shaw of Belton, and fur baby, Cinnamon.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Cleve Matthews Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
