David Everette Bledsoe

David Everette Bledsoe, 86, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024, at his home.

Born in Johnston, SC and a son of the late Douglas Bledsoe and Lillie Agnes Polatty Bledsoe, he was the husband of the late Ann Boland Bledsoe. Mr. Bledsoe served in the United States Army and was a retired electrician with Milliken. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and the Hollywood Ruritan Club.

Surviving are a son, Kenneth David Bledsoe of Batesburg, a daughter, Gayle Bledsoe Sharpe (Brad) of Leesville, grandchildren, Cameron Adams (Cortney), Makayla Adams, Austin Sharpe and Justin Sharpe, great grandchildren Blakely Adams and Evalynn Adams, a brother, Dwight Bledsoe (Margaret) of Johnston and two sisters, Georgia Gillion of Greenwood and Elise Rodgers (J.C.) of Ward.

Mr. Bledsoe was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas P. Bledsoe and Marion Bledsoe and a sister, Arnette Holmes.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with Rev. Kevin Ogilvie officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m., in the church social hall.
