David Branham

David Duane Branham, 70, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 9th, 2017 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood.

Born in Fairfield County and a son of the late Fulmer and Kathleen Hatchell Branham, he was a loving husband for 45 years to Patricia Dianne Joyner Branham. Mr. Branham served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was retired from United Insurance Company and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints- Newberry Ward. He was a pool shark and an avid golfer. He was a devout Mormon and enjoyed his family more than anything.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia Branham, five children, Richard J. "Rick" Branham (Brad) of Salt Lake City, UT, Gina B. Owens of Saluda, David A. Branham of Greenwood, Derek D. Branham (Katie) of Chapin and Candy B. Holland of Louisville, GA, three brothers, Clarence Branham of Winnsboro, Lawrence Branham of Chester, and Vernon Branham of Winnsboro. David was a loving Papa and will be missed deeply by his five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Branham was preceded in death by a sister, Kaye Hudson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m on Wednesday, August 16th, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Newberry. Bishop Robert Taylor will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Branham Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
