Obituary

Dwight Dexter Havird, 60, died Friday, October 7, 2016 at Lexington Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Lacy Pope Havird and Betty Jane Black Mitchell. Mr. Havird was employed with Lexington County Public Works.

Surviving are two sisters, Margie Rodgers of Batesburg and Linda Owens (Mike) of Saluda, two brothers, Wilson Havird and Randolph Havird both of Batesburg and a niece, Ashley Owens and three nephews, Daniel Rodgers, Jamie Rodgers and Andrew Owens.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m., Monday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
