Elizabeth Polyak

Elizabeth (Libby) Lyerly Polyak, 88, passed away December 1, 2023, at her home.
Born September 16, 1935, in Salisbury, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Ed and Janie Sparger Lyerly, wife of the late Luke Wayne Polyak, Sr. Graduated from Spencer High School, Spencer, N.C. in 1953. Attended Catawba College and graduated from Salisbury Business College, Salisbury, N.C. She was a member of Rehoboth Methodist Church, Leesville, S.C. and retired from Saluda School District 1, Saluda, S.C. in 1997.

Mrs. Polyak is preceded in death by twin grandsons, Zachary, and Jeremy Polyak.
Surviving are two sons, Luke Wayne Polyak, Jr. (Cindy) of Batesburg, and James Michael Polyak (Deborah) of Leesville, three grandchildren, Cody Polyak (Lindsey), Grant Polyak (Sherri), and Haley Perry (Sam) and eleven great-grandchildren
.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 7, 2023, with Rev. Debbie and Noble Miller officiating. The family is requesting everyone to dress casual. The family will receive friends following the service.
