A Graveside service for Elizabeth Matthews Shealy, 84, will be held 3 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2015, at Nazareth United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.

Memorials may be made to Nazareth United Methodist Church, 2943 Columbia Hwy., Leesville, SC 29070 or the charity of one's choice.

Mrs. Shealy, widow of M. Kelly Shealy died Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Born in Saluda County, she was the daughter of the late W. Lloyd and Gussie Rawl Matthews. She was a member of Nazareth United Methodist Church and the U.M.W. She and her late husband dairy farmed and she was a homemaker.

Surviving are her daughter, Karen (Von) Bedenbaugh, a son, Von K. Shealy, two brothers, George Matthews and W. L. (Junior) Matthews, six grandchildren, Derek Bedenbaugh, Devin Bedenbaugh, Daren Bedenbaugh, Whitney Shealy, McKenzie Shealy and Doug Webb, and two great-grandchildren, Nash Durst and Harper Webb.

The family would like to give special thanks to Lenora Springs, Sandy Springs, Vivian Valentine and Saluda Hospice Care of South Carolina for their love and care.
