Elouese Edwards Miller, 83, died Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.

Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late John Wesley and Carrie Mae Rodgers Edwards. she was one of fourteen children. Mrs. Miller was the wife of the late Kenneth Darrell Miller and was a homemaker. She involved herself in education as a teacher's assistant and substitute teacher within the Saluda School District and was formerly employed with The Added Touch. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Nathan Darrell (Gloria) Miller of Gilroy, CA, Dale Edwards Miller of Saluda and Kenneth Norman Miller of Waterloo, two daughters, Corliss Elaine M. Hinson of Camden and Lisa Ann M. Seay of Inman, two brothers, Luther Edwards of Edgefield and Henry Edwards of Ninety Six, a sister, Louese Bledsoe of Saluda and three grandchildren, Jessica Kori Miller, Christopher Shane Miller and Talmage Wesley Hinson.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8PM at Ramey Funeral Home.
