Ernest Nolan "Bud" Butler, Jr., 75, died Monday, April 15, 2019 at his residence.

Born in Greenwood County and a son of the late Ernest Nolan "Sam" Butler, Sr. and Estelle "Ida" Leopard Butler, he was the husband of Linda Lou Knight Butler. Mr. Butler was a retired machine operator with Greenwood Mills and then was a security guard with Amick Farms. He was a member of Greenwood Shores Baptist Church, where he was a deacon.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Lou Knight Butler, a son, Paul Butler of Chappells, two brothers, Daniel "Pete" Butler (Nita) and Wayne Butler (Peggy) both of Chappells, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

A Graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Hopewell Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. Paul Flynn, Rev. Burton Campbell and Rev. Lee Going officiating.
