Etta Bradley
Etta Hyler Bradley, 87, died Friday, June 9, 2017 at Saluda Nursing Center.
Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Columbus E. and Marie Bledsoe Hyler and the wife of Franklin Waters Bradley. Mrs. Bradley was a former employee of the Saluda Shirt Plant and Greenwood Mills Ninety Six Plant. She was a member of Dean's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a former church secretary and treasurer and was a member of the women's ministry. She loved gardening, church and her family.
Surviving are her husband, Franklin Waters Bradley, a daughter, Elaine Long of Saluda, a grandson, Brett Long (Dana) of Saluda and a great-grandson, Oneal Bradley Long.
Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by two brothers, C.E. Hyler and Malcolm Hyler, two sisters, Marzelle Griffin and Alberta Goodman and a son in-law, Ebbie Long.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, June 12, 2017 at Dean's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Tim Thompson, Rev. Burton Campbell and Rev. Ken Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
