Eunice Christine "Teena" Maffett Whittle, 91, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025 at Saluda Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Whittle was a dedicated and skilled worker, having been formerly employed with Quality Stitching and the Saluda Shirt Plant as a seamstress. She was a devoted member of Shiloh Methodist Church, where her warm presence and generous spirit were deeply appreciated.
Mrs. Whittle was especially well known for her delicious pound cakes, which she lovingly brought to share with her friends and colleagues. Her baking became a cherished tradition, and her cakes were so beloved that many began requesting them personally.
In addition to her culinary gifts, Mrs. Whittle was artistically talented. Her legacy of kindness, creativity, and generosity lives on in the many lives she touched.
