Eva Bradney

Eva Margaret Horne Bradney, 66, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Born in Lancaster, PA and the daughter of the late Harold Horne and Margaret Kerr Horne, she was the wife of Stephen Wayne Bradney. Eva retired as an office manager from Groff Tractor Equipment in Ephrata, PA. She faithfully attended Clyde's Chapel Batesburg.

Eva was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High school in Lancaster, PA., and Millersville University Millersville, PA.

Eva was passionate about her hobbies, which included sewing and counted cross-stitch, where she created intricate designs that showcased her artistic talent. She was also an avid gardener where she found joy in nurturing her plants. She also embraced the art of canning, preserving the flavors of each season in jars.

Surviving alongside her husband of 43 years are, two daughters, Amanda Jean Hildebrand of Lancaster, PA and Mary Elizabeth Bradney of Lexington, KY, three grandchildren, Zoey, Hunter, and Talon, and a sister, Cindy Horne Carson of Lancaster, PA.

Eva was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Horne.

A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Curcio officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
