Floree Hallman Buffington Buckner, 69, of 1217 Wilson Bridge Rd, died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Self Regional Healthcare, Greenwood, SC.

Born in Ward, SC, on February 7, 1947 to the late Davis Hallman and Minnie Lee Rodgers Hallman, she was the wife of Lowell Buckner and the late Homer Sherrill Buffington, Sr. She was a retired lieutenant with the SC Department of Corrections at McCormick Correctional Institute. She was a faithful member of the Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church, Greenwood, SC.

Surviving is her husband, Lowell Buckner of the home, two daughters, a son, sons in-law and daughter in-law, Tena and Greg Campbell of Saluda, Jennifer and Lloyd Hebert of Montgomery, TX and Homer and Stephanie Buffington of Fort Mill, SC; two brothers, George Hallman (Carolyn) and Vaden Hallman (Peggy) both of Ninety Six, SC; three sisters, Virginia Risinger of Saluda, SC, Rebecca Powell of Greenwood, SC and Carolyn Winn (Teddy Rains) of Aiken, SC; five grandchildren, Matthew Nicholson of Montgomery, TX, Ashton Campbell (Cesar Rivera) of Greenwood, SC, Cameron and Payton Campbell both of Saluda, SC and Jesse Lee Buffington of Fort Mill, SC; and one great grandchild, Naomi Nicholson of Montgomery, TX; and special friend Lillie Black of Johnston, SC.

Funeral services will be held at Saluda Church of God at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 16, 2017. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Ramey Funeral Home in Saluda, SC on Sunday, January 15, 2017. Interment will follow at Travis Park Cemetery in Saluda, SC.
