Ray Storey

Floydie Ray Storey,70, died Monday, March 15, 2021 at his residence.

Born in Saluda County and a son of the late Monroe Storey and Mary Alice Evans Storey, he was the husband of the late Susan Faye Richburg Storey. Mr. Storey was retired from The Hardware Store and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Paula Reese (Cody) of Saluda, a brother, Gordon Storey of Saluda, two sisters, Nellie Rish of Gilbert and Gloria Goodwin of Saluda, a granddaughter, Raylyn Reese and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Storey was preceded in death by a son, Ted Ray Storey and three brothers, Sammy Storey, Joe Ben Storey and Ted Ray Storey.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to MSA Hospice for all their care and affection.

A graveside service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery with Minister Chris Bosket and Rev. Larry Smith officiating.
