Frances Crouch

Frances Matilda McCarty Crouch, 97, died Saturday, August 22, 2020 at her daughter's residence.

Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Simeon McCarty and Blanche Padgett McCarty, she was the wife of the late Henry Lafayett "H.L." Crouch. Mrs. Crouch was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse with Saluda Nursing Center. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Patsy Trotter Esuary (Jack) of Saluda, a sister, Van Rae Bledsoe of Lexington, two grandchildren, Wendy Rushton Edwards (Tim) and Brad Rushton (Belinda), three great-grandchildren, Brody Edwards (Corrissa), Logan Edwards and Greyson Rushton and two step-great-grandchildren, Natalie Rikard and Kelby Rikard.

Mrs. Crouch was preceded in death by six brothers, Bruce McCarty, Thomas L. McCarty, Tyrone McCarty, Major McCarty, Dick McCarty and Yank McCarty and two sisters, Julia Boozer and Marian Rister.

Due to Covid-19 a private graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at West Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gary Romines officiating.
