Frances McKay
Frances Viola Fowler McKay, 78, died Friday, September 25, 2020 at Saluda Nursing Center.
Born in Edgefield County and a daughter of the late, John Price Fowler and Clara Ellen Pardue. She was the wife of James William McKay. Mrs. McKay was a homemaker and attended Hopewell Congregational Holiness Church.
Surviving are her husband, James William McKay, three daughters, Darlene Huckabee (Dan) of Trenton, Lorine Kelly (Michael) of Saluda and Ann McKay of Edgefield, two sons, Robert McKay of Orangeburg and Danny McKay of Edgefield, two sisters, Myrtle McCauley of Laurens and Patricia Ann Perry of Greenville, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McKay was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Hopewell Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Jerry Denny officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
