G. W. Berry Jr.'s Obituary
George Washington "G.W." Berry, Jr.,49, died Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Greenwood County, and son of George Washington Berry, Sr. and Margaret Fulmer Berry, he was the husband of Donna Rowe Berry. He was a graduate of Saluda High School and an instructor with the South Carolina Fire Academy. He loved hunting and fishing and was a member of Outdoors Without Limits.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Rowe Berry, his parents, George Washington Berry, Sr. and Margaret Fulmer Berry, one son, Lee Berry, a sister, JoAnn Crouch (Tim), and two brothers, Laverne (Lisa) and Lamar Berry.
G. W. was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Lee Berry.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, June 12, 2015 at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Burton Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Travis Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 11, 2015, from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at Ramey Funeral Home.
