Gene Aubrey Robertson

Gene Aubrey Robertson, 83, died Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Saluda Nursing Center.

Born in Saluda County and a son of the late James Blackwell Robertson and Minnie Theora Johnson Robertson, he was the husband of the late Virginia Fulmer Robertson. Mr. Robertson was a farmer and served in the South Carolina National Guard, 122nd Engineer Company in Saluda. He was a member of Richland Springs Baptist Church, the Travis Masonic Lodge 241, Hejaz Shriners Temple and the Saluda Cattleman's Association.

Surviving are his son, Glen Robertson (Sandy) of Saluda, a daughter, Gale R. Miller (Glenn) of Prosperity, a daughter-in-law, Debbie Robertson of Saluda, two sisters, Annelle Satterfield of Saluda and Loriane Davis (Shirley) of Clinton, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by a son, Gene Robertson.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Richland Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Johnson Family Cemetery, The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church social hall.
