Saluda, SC
Genell Rogers Hazel, 94, died Monday, August 20, 2018 at Magnolia Manor in Greenwood.
Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Malaichi Augustus and Elizabeth Storey Rogers, she was the wife of the late David Carol Hazel. Mrs. Hazel was a member of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Idora Clarke of Saluda, a son, Roger Hazel (Lynn) of Gilbert, eight grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Hazel was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra H. Warren and a great-great-granddaughter, Madalynn Anne.
The family will hold a memorial service at 11a.m., Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Chestnut Hill Baptist Church.
The family is requesting no flowers.
