Jerry Silk

Gerald "Jerry" Feaster Silk, 68, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Lexington Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, and a son of the late Frederick Elton Silk, Sr., and Novis Feaster Silk, he was the husband of Donna "Faye" Long Silk. He was retired from Richardson Construction Company in Columbia and was a member of Richland Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Surviving alongside his wife of 49 years are two daughters, Amanda Jacobs (Jay) of Saluda and Amy Rushton (John) of Ward, a grandson, Cade Rushton, a brother, Doug Silk of Lexington, and a sister, Rosa Berry (Mike) of Ward and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Silk was preceded by a brother, Freddie Silk.

A graveside service will be held 3:00pm on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Saluda Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steve Jones and Rev. Darrell Engle officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
