Gloria Dozier

Gloria Gene Crapps Dozier, 74, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Self Regional in Greenwood, SC.

Born in Joanna, SC, and the daughter of the late Willie Eugene Crapps and Rachel Lucinda Lyons Fellers, she was the widow to Jimmy Attaway, and wife of Cecil Wayne Dozier. She previously worked in the dining room of Saluda Nursing Center.

Surviving are her husband, Cecil Wayne Dozier of Saluda, one daughter, Shonda Edwards (Brad) of McCormick, two step-daughters, Anita Crowder (Donnie) of Laurens and Amy Jones (Scott) of Burnsville, NC, step-mother, Mary Crapps, step-father, Richard Fellers, one brother, Harley E. Crapps (Karen) of Newberry, one sister, Tina Daniels (Gene) of Harstville, a step-brother, Warren L. Shealy (Jan), two step-sisters, Mary Ellis (Glenn) and Joyce Oltmann (Billy), six grandchildren, Paige Brown (Joe), Logan Edwards, Aleeah Edwards, Dylan Finley (Jessica), Cason Jones and Jayden Jones, two step-grandchildren, Taylor and Wil Crowder, two great-grandchildren, Kinslee and Ellie Finley, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Dozier was preceded in death by a daughter, Starr Lucinda Crapps.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service. All that are in attendance are asked to please wear a mask.
