Helen Elizabeth Bledsoe Padgett's Obituary
Helen Elizabeth Bledsoe Padgett, 97, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Saluda Nursing Center.
Born in Saluda County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Barnes and Maybelle Berry Bledsoe, and widow to David Beauregard Padgett. She was a homemaker and retired seamstress from Saluda Shirt Plant. She was a Prayer Warrior who followed the parable in Luke 18:1 saying one "should always pray and not give up".
Surviving are a son, Bennie Lee Padgett special nieces and nephew, Geraldine Jacobs, Meade Hendrix, Jennifer Padgett and Joe Brent Padgett, and several other nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Padgett is preceded in death by her husband David B. Padgett, and a son, Carl Dennis Padgett.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, February 8, 2021 at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Carles Fincannon officiating.
