Helen Keisler

Helen Ethel Clayton Keisler, 102, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Saluda Nursing Center in Saluda, SC.

Helen was the eighth child born to Thomas Lee and Ethel Dona Hooper Clayton on May 21, 1917. She was the oldest member of Saluda Baptist Church.

She is survived by her three daughters, Rebecca K. Boland (Tad) of Greenville, SC, Barbara K. Bishop (Harry) of Charleston, SC and Nancy K. Rodgers of Saluda, SC, five grandchildren, Beth B. Lewis (Billy), Alicia B. Denton (Steve), Lauren Bishop (Pam), Jennifer B. Orsulak (Jack) and Michael Rodgers (Tina), nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, five sisters, a son-in-law, Pat Rodgers, two granddaughters, Melissa R. Burrus and Leigh Ann Rodgers and a great-granddaughter, Leah Grace Burrus.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 23, 2019 at West Travis Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
