Helen Jeffries Wright, 95 died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at NHC Healthcare of West Columbia. Mrs. Wright was born on July 15, 1919, in Madison, GA. A daughter of the late John Harris Jeffries and Lily Maude Harper Jeffries, she was the wife of the late Hilliard Strother Wright. She attended the University of Georgia, and at the time of her retirement in 1976 was a North Carolina Real Estate Broker in Charlotte, NC.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her son, Bert Robert Wright II (Alice Emily Wright) of Havelock, NC and a granddaughter, Courtney Blair Wright McDougal of New Bern, NC.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Ramey Funeral Home in Saluda with Rev. Sandra King officiating. A private committal service will be in the Wright family plot at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Johnston, SC where three generations of Wrights are interred. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make memorials to Leesville United Methodist Church, 510 East Columbia Ave., Leesville, SC 29070.
