Hunter Todd Griffith, 23, died Monday, March 6, 2023.

Born in Greenwood County, he was the son of Jeffrey Todd Griffith and Jima Nichole Battle Slate. Hunter was employed with Davis Construction.

Surviving are his father and stepmother, Jeffrey Todd and Grace Griffith of Chappells, his mother, Jima Nichole Battle Slate of Greenwood, two sisters, Mindy Neel (Tyler) of Greenwood and Kailey Slate of Greenwood, paternal grandparents, James and Lizzie Griffith of Chappells, maternal grandmothers, Yvonne Brock of Greenwood, and Dustie "MuMu" Cox of Greenwood, two aunts, Angela Dickson of Chappells and Harriett Snelling (Chip) of Greenwood, two nieces, Savannah Moore and Shelby Neel, a nephew, Maddox Moore and cousins, Kim Shealy (Sam), Lake Shealy, Lynlee Shealy, Todd Dickson (Emily), Brylee Dickson and Bristol Dickson.

Hunter was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenny Ray Brock and one uncle, William "Wiggie" Dickson.

A memorial service will be held at 12 PM, Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Hopewell Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Buddy Cockrell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
